Vento has been thoroughly tested by, among others, Marcus Ehning. The secret lies in the innovative layers of material inside the boot: the innermost layer, which is in contact with the horse's leg, is made of two-way stretch for maximum comfort. The middle layer is Aerox, micro-perforated neoprene; the microscopic holes are designed to let heat escape from the leg.
The outermost layer is a special 3D mesh material that facilitates the movement of warm air upwards.
The shock-absorbing shell has ventilation holes at the bottom where cool air is drawn in and additional holes at the top where warm air is pushed out.
