The Barbour Beaufort is a timeless waxed jacket that combines British heritage with practical functionality. The model was launched in 1983 and has since retained its characteristic design, featuring a generous fit, classic tartan lining, and a spacious game pocket on the back.
The jacket is made from Barbour's mediumweight Thornproof waxed cotton and is just as suitable for the city as it is for the countryside. The slightly shorter model is inspired by French shooting jackets. The two-way zip with a built-in bottle opener, handwarmer pockets, and large front pockets make the jacket practical for everyday use. Complete it with a hood or a liner vest when you want to adapt the jacket to the weather and season.

Beaufort sizing is in inches, where the size is usually ten units below the corresponding traditional European men's size:
- 38″ = regular men's size 48
- 40″ = regular men's size 50
- 42″ = regular men's size 52
- 44″ = regular men's size 54
- etc.
